Flow Deletion and Recovery
Managing flows efficiently helps keep your workspace organized by removing outdated or unnecessary flows. Flows can be deleted, permanently deleted, or recovered if needed. Below are the different ways to manage flow deletion and recovery:
Using the ellipsis (⋮) menu in the Actions column on the Flows page
Using the Properties button in the Flow Details page
WARNING
If the flow is shared with other users, you must unshare it before proceeding with deletion.
Permanent deletion is irreversible—ensure the flow is no longer needed before taking this step.
Deleting a Flow
Deleting a flow removes it from active use while keeping the option to recover it later.
Method 1: Using the Ellipsis (⋮) Menu in the Flows Page
Locate the flow you want to delete in the Flows Page.
Click the ellipsis (⋮) icon in the Actions column.
Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the deletion prompt.
A popup notification appears: "Flow has been deleted successfully!"
The flow will now be marked with a "DELETED" status in the flows list, indicating it has been removed from active use.
Method 2: Using the Properties Button in the Flow Details Page
Click on the flow name or select "View Details" from the ellipsis (⋮) menu.
In the Flow Details Page, click the Properties button.
Click the Delete option.
Confirm the deletion prompt.
A popup notification appears: "Flow has been deleted successfully!"
The flow will now be marked with a "DELETED" status in the flows list.
Permanently Deleting a Flow
If a flow is no longer needed, it can be permanently deleted to remove it entirely from the system. This action is irreversible, so it should only be performed when the flow is absolutely no longer required.
Method 1: Using the Ellipsis (⋮) Menu in the Flows Page
Locate the deleted flow in the Flows page (flows marked as "DELETED").
Click the ellipsis (⋮) icon in the Actions column.
Select "Delete Permanently" from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the prompt to permanently delete the flow.
The flow will be removed from the system and will no longer appear in any lists.
Method 2: Using the Properties Button in the Flow Details Page
Click on the flow name or select "View Details" from the ellipsis (⋮) menu.
In the Flow Details Page, click the Properties button.
Check the box: "I’m sure I want to delete this flow forever."
Click "DELETE FOREVER" button and confirm the prompt to permanently delete the flow.
A popup notification appears: "Flow has been deleted successfully!"
The flow will be removed from the system.
Recovering a Flow
If a flow was deleted by mistake or is needed again, you can recover it and restore its functionality. The recovered flow will return with its last known status (ACTIVE or DRAFT).
Method 1: Using the Ellipsis (⋮) Menu in the Flows Page
Locate the deleted flow you want to recover.
Click the ellipsis (⋮) icon in the Actions column.
Select "Recover" from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the recovery prompt..
A popup notification appears: "Flow has been recovered successfully!"
The flow will return to its previous status (ACTIVE or DRAFT) and can be used or modified as needed.
Method 2: Using the Properties Button in the Flow Details Page
Open the Flow Details Page of a deleted flow.
Click the Properties button.
Click "Recover Flow" and confirm the action.
A popup notification appears: "Flow has been recovered successfully!"
The flow will return to its last status (Active or Draft).
