# Designer

### Overview

The Designer in the CX Fabric is your creative playground for constructing seamless and intelligent workflows. This user-friendly interface empowers you to craft, customize, and optimize every step of your process with ease. With the Flows Designer, you get a visually interactive canvas where you can drag and drop components to build your workflow effortlessly.

The Preferences section in the Designer allows users to customize their experience by adjusting visible widgets and selecting a preferred theme.

Users can personalize their Designer interface using the **Preferences** settings. This includes:

* Enabling or disabling widgets for a customized workspace.
* Choosing a theme to adjust the UI appearance.

### Widgets <a href="#widgets" id="widgets"></a>

Users can enable or disable specific widgets in the Designer to customize their workflow.

* **Canvas Tools (Checkbox)** – Select to make Canvas Tools visible or unselect to hide them.

### Theming

Users can select a theme for the Designer and Portal interface:

* **Light Mode** – Enables a bright UI theme.
* **Dark Mode** – Enables a dark UI theme for better visibility in low-light environments.
* **System Mode** – Automatically applies the system-wide theme setting.
